The Story Behind NT Avian Nurse

Born from a love of birds, built to support the people who care for them.

The Story Behind NT Avian Nurse

For me, birds have never been just animals — and caring for them has never been just a job.

After more than 10 years of hands-on experience caring for birds, I’ve come to appreciate just how intelligent, individual and incredibly special they are. Every bird has its own personality, behaviours, routines and needs — and every owner wants the reassurance that they're doing the very best they can for their feathered family.

That passion is what led me to create NT Avian Nurse. 🦜💙

I wanted to provide bird owners across the Northern Territory with somewhere they could turn for compassionate care, practical guidance and genuine support — without always having to take their bird away from the environment where they feel safest.
